Protecting your skin in the summer sun

  • 1. Wear sunscreen. Protect yourselves from the sun’s harmful UV rays by wearing the right level of protection.

  • 2. Use a higher factor of sunscreen, rather than risking a lower one.

  • 3. Keep reapplying sunscreen and remember your lips and ears!

  • 4. Cover up. Sunscreen is good, but protective clothing and a hat is needed; always pack some protective clothing for the beach.

  • 5. Find some shade during the hottest hours of the day.

  • 6. Protect your eyes with suitable sunglasses with UVA and UVB protection.
