The cost of backsliding Backsliders are the most miserable, unhappy people in the world.They neither enjoy God, nor the world. They have too much Christianity to enjoy the world, and too much of the world to enjoy God. Each side shakes their heads at the backslider. He is a deserter from both. He first deserted the world to join the church, and then went back and tried the world again. "Be hot or cold then God can do something with you. But do not be lukewarm as God will spit you out of His mouth." Revelation 3: 15-17. Do not sit on the fence. God can forgive you and you will be restored. There is hope. |
