God's Plan I want to do my own thing. One reason you may not want to obey God is because there is sin in your life. When we fellowship with God and walk in His plan, He expects us to turn our back on sin, and that means a holy lifestyle. 'Whoever will come after Me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall lose his life for My sake and the gospel's, he shall save it'. Mark 8:34-35. I don’t believe that God has a plan for my life. The Bible, which is God’s word, clearly states that He has a plan for you. If you truly believe in the Word of God and meditate on Ephesians 2:10; soon your heart will tell you that it is true. Obedience is the key to achieving all that God has for you. Put your trust in the Lord, He will direct your paths. ‘Sit down first and count the cost’ Luke 14:28. ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your path’ Proverbs 3:5-6.
