Food Facts And Stress

1. Research shows that a prolonged period of day-to-day pressure can weaken the immune system and cause high incidence of minor illnesses, such as colds, coughs and flu. God commands a rest day in each seven days - called the Sabbath.

2. Experts say that foods such as steak, blackcurrants, melon, oranges, walnuts, pecan nuts, green beans, potatoes, broccoli and water helps beat stress, due to the B vitamins which help the central nervous system and vitamin C and zinc for resistance to infection.

3. Scientists at Oxford University's Imperial Cancer Research Fund found that people who eat fresh fruit daily had 24% fewer heart attacks and 32% fewer strokes.

4. Antioxidants are considered to be possible cancer-busters.
