Steps to lose weight

Are you still trying to get into shape after the Christmas and New Year excess? Try these few tips for shedding the pounds.

  • Replace one unhealthy snack with a daily piece of fruit.
  • Plan five extra minutes of exercise a day.
  • Leave the biscuit tin alone for a while!
  • Take the stairs and beat the lift!
  • Aim to lose 1lb a week.

    Tell a friend your goals and encourage each other in your health objectives. Remember it's better to make small lifestyle changes that can become permanent, rather than dieting, only to put the weight back on again in a couple of months!

    Remember to consult your doctor before making any changes to your lifestyle.
