“But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, and pray for those who despitefully use you”. Luke 6:27-28.
When we choose to forgive, we can be released from much of the pain and bitterness that we hold inside. By obeying God to forgive, it is us, not them, who are set free. We are set free from bitterness and anger as we trust in God to bring about justice.
Showing love is what distinguishes the Christian from any other. We should forgive those who do evil, even though we hate their deeds.
"Freely you have received, freely give", Matthew 10:8.
Pray without ceasing!
'For we do not wrestle (fight) against flesh and blood (people), but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places' Ephesians 6:12.
