Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you had known Me, you would have known My
Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him” (John 14:6-7).
Christianity is either all true or all false. There is no other position which is acceptable (John 1:17). When the Truth, Christ Himself speaks to us
His eternal truth, we must wake up and listen to His alarm. Jesus said, “Listen!” (Mark 4:3), “Take Heed,” (Matthew 18:10) and, “Let these words sink
down into your ears” (Luke 9:44). Do we listen to Jesus?
The devil, through the world is trying to send believers into an eternal sleep, as the prince of the power of the air bombards our culture with
falsehoods (Ephesians 2:2), trying to drive us away from all truth and Christ’s teaching. However, with the loud beeping sound of the alarm clock of
Christ’s words, we can be raised out of our demonic, worldly sleep and face the daylight of His Word (1 John 2:15). It may hurt our hearts at first,
but reality must be faced, for it is reality! Christ’s words are true; all the world is a lie. John explained: ‘We know that we are of God and the
whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one’ (1 John 5:19).
Jesus is the Way to God the Father, He is the embodiment of Truth, and in Him and through faith in Him, we can obtain eternal Life. Jesus said, “I give them
eternal life and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28). Thus, it is impossible to find God the Father,
except by going through Jesus and placing our faith in Him (Hebrews 10:19-23). All other routes, as the apostles taught, lead to another
spirit (1 John 2:22, 2 John 7).
Some have claimed the disciples never believed Jesus was God; this is not true. In the Gospels they wrote records of Jesus being worshipped more than
ten times. In a boat they worshipped Him as God (Matthew 14:33), after He rose from the dead they worshipped Him (Matthew 28:9, 17), and when He ascended
into heaven they worshipped Him (Luke 24:52). Peter refused worship (Acts 10:25-26), but not Jesus, who was worshipped by many (Mark 5:6, John 9:38).
