Christian Youth USA The United States of America has a population of around 280 million people. It has the most powerful, diverse and technologically advanced economy in the world. The Pilgrim Fathers desired freedom to exercise their Christian faith and established a State greatly influenced by Biblical Christianity. It gained its independence from Britain in 1776. The US contribution to world evangelisation is unique, in that in 2000, it had 70,000 evangelical missionaries around the world. The spiritual heritage of the USA is being eroded by the humanist, New Agers and the large entertainment industry. Anti-Christian minorities are using the separation of church and State to limit public expression of faith and push for permissive legislation. In the midst of all of this, the Christian youth of the USA are seeking God in a new way. Today 30% of the teenage population attends a place of worship and student ministries have flourished. The Christian Youth of the USA have the opportunity to influence their churches, the entertainment industry, politics and every area of society. When revival flows through-out the USA, the Christian youth could take it to the world. Will you? |
